Hi Dan,

I think spring is the most suitable time to spray, only if conditions appear likely to encourage infection. Applying fungicides before bud break or after the peak of bloom causes discolored fruit.

I have a few apple trees that showed black spots on the leaves and apples from previous years. I have just purchased bonide’s Fruit Tree Spray. Is the first of May a good time to apply this to my trees?
