Does your skin seem to get sunburned easily even when you just sit at your outdoor patio table and eat for a small amount of time? Well, then you may want to consider finding more ways to get some shade when you are seated or lounging out in your backyard.
One of the best ways to do that is with a well-designed patio umbrella like this one from Abba. Come take a closer look at it with me as I describe the good and bad characteristics of this product in this Abba Patio Umbrella reviews.
In terms of cost, this patio umbrella from Abba can best be described as lower mid-range in price. The best thing about it is that this is a model that even though its price is very reasonable it still has many features you would find on much more expensive model patio umbrellas.
Once you have your base located where you want it this umbrella is very easy to set up and open. When you are done using it this product then closes back up easily and can be securely stored in place until the next sunny day when you need to use it.
Many patio umbrellas that are found in the outdoor lawn and garden marketplace are only 8 feet in diameter but this patio umbrella expands out to a generous 9 feet.
It also stands over 8 feet high so it never gets in the way when you are using it to cover an outdoor table you are eating at or when you are sitting up reading a book by the pool.
It’s very sturdy in its design too. The framing is solidly built and even its metal parts have good looking and long lasting powder coating on them.
One nice thing about this umbrella that I like is that I had a choice to purchase its canopy in one of 4 different neutral colors (beige, dark green, red/maroon and turquoise).
I know there have been times when I wondered how they would even hold the heavy umbrella material up in even a small they seemed so fragile.
Well, that is not a problem with this sturdy umbrella model for sure. It has eight very well-spaced steel support ribs that solidly connect back into its sturdy aluminum center pole. This umbrella does not even sway very much in a small wind because it’s so well supported.
One of the most frustrating things for me when I have an upright patio umbrella is that it seems I constantly have to move the umbrella and heavy stand.
We all know that the sun does not stay in one place throughout the day unfortunately so your peaceful day spent by the pool is often being disrupted to move your shade umbrella.
Well, that is not the case with this patio umbrella from Abba. It has a feature that will enable you to adjust its tilt so you can continue to block the sun without having to move the entire umbrella setup.
The cranking system on this patio umbrella works really well and it takes only a short time to effortlessly open the umbrella up and to retract it back closed again. The cranking handle also has a button you need to press on it that initiates the tilt angle feature on this Abba patio umbrella product.
This Abba patio umbrella product has multiple uses because of its large 9’ canopy size too. It can be used to do such things as provide shade for two pool lounge chairs side by side and I also like to use it to shade my round, outdoor 4 seat patio table.
I don’t think it would have any problem completely shading a square patio table either. Even a patio table that sits up to 6 people I think it would more than adequately cover.
I find that whenever I am shopping for a product, especially one that I will purchase on the internet, I find it really helps to check out some reviews of what other people say about the product.
As a matter of fact, that is what convinced me to by the Abba Patio Umbrella over some competitor’s brands.
The things I kept reading over and over on other reviews were things such as how sturdy it’s built and how well it blocks the sun.
Many owners also thought it was a good looking umbrella with its powder coated all metal frame. Hearing it was easy to open and retract was a good selling point for me too.
I was actually pretty impressed with how well made this patio umbrella was for the price they were asking for it. It definitely was what I felt is a bargain for how much I paid for it. This is especially true considering how easy it was to setup and then open and close.
The canopy was lightweight and thin but it still blocked almost 100% of the sun’s rays. It also was not overly heavy to move either despite its sturdy construction. The handy tilt feature and not having to constantly move it were what finally sold me on purchasing it.
